WELCOME TO RICHLAND CENTER, WISCONSIN USA!

Welcome to Richland Center. Our website will provide you with a wealth of information about our City. We hope it will be of service to you.  However, a website is just that. The real Richland Center is its people. Our Community is great.

We are located in beautiful southwestern Wisconsin in the unglaciated area of the State. Our hills are always beautiful, but in the autumn they are spectacular.

Are you interested in Frank Lloyd Wright?  Richland Center is his birthplace. The AD German Warehouse represents an example of Mr. Wright’s tremendous talent. Come and visit the warehouse, our historic downtown, and our many early 1900 residences.

We are the home to many businesses and industries. From farming to processing, the milk industry is very important to our area. A recent expansion of our industrial park has created sites available for small or large businesses. Opportunities are abundant.

Our modern school system includes both public and parochial schools. Our recently constructed high school is well equipped for the future. The University of Wisconsin – Richland has been a mainstay in our community for over forty years.  It offers two year degrees and full accreditation for transfer of credits to four year campuses.

Richland Center is home to the Richland Center Hospital, the gem for our community. It has been a benefactor to our volunteerism as evidenced by the recently constructed Douglas Kraemer Cancer Facility.  The Richland Medical Center is a well equipped medical facility that has served the community well for years.

We remain proud of our heritage and of those who have fought to protect our freedom. The American Legion flag park memorial is outstanding.  A new Veterans Memorial will soon be finished allowing a fitting memorial for all Richland County veterans.  When completed it will be spectacular.  We are also very fortunate to have wonderful senior housing and tremendous senior healthcare facilities in the area.

In the spring visit our community to search for morels and to try out our trout streams. Our apple blossoms are beautiful then.

The Wisconsin High School Rodeo comes to our City in June for a weeks worth of top notch rodeo action and a great parade.

Star Spangled Celebration is our communities all volunteer country music festival.  It brings Nashville stars to Richland Center in June for three days of great live entertainment.

Our outdoor public swimming facility is put to good use every summer. The Symons Recreation Complex facility offers year round swimming and fitness opportunities for our community.  Biking is also a favorite activity.  We have a bike trail that was constructed on the old railroad trail from Richland Center to Lone Rock providing approximately 15 miles of great scenery.  Want to golf, mine challenging holes are located on the City's edge.

In autumn our hills come alive with the changing color of the leaves.

Our apples are ready for picking and the community celebrates with a Festival of Lights parade. This night parade features floats and bands adorned with lights.

Winter is celebrated with our area facilities for skiing, snow boarding and snowmobiling.

Yes, Richland Center has you covered for all seasons. Come and see us soon.  We look forward to meeting you.  If you have any questions about our City, please give me a call.

Sincerely Yours:

City of Richland Center
